Stephen Bell is an entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, widely regarded as a thought leader in financial-planning technology, software design, and business-process efficiency.

After successfully building and selling Enzumo, Australia’s largest Xplan customisation firm, Stephen saw a clear opportunity to re-imagine the technology foundations of financial planning: a platform with fewer constraints, fewer “no’s,” and far greater openness to integration, automation, and innovation.

That vision led to the creation of Captegra, a modern financial-planning solution built natively on the world’s leading CRM, Salesforce. Captegra is designed to give advice businesses greater control over their data, workflows, and client experiences, enabling scalable efficiency, real-time insights, and seamless integration across the advice ecosystem.

Stephen brings deep expertise across strategy, technology, and operations, with a proven track record of building high-growth businesses and delivering practical, automation-driven outcomes for the financial-planning industry.


Stephen holds a Masters in Business Process, a Bachelor of Science (Maths) from Queensland University of Technology and a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University.
